Really Bad Exposure

According to Wikipedia, mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. There are not so many cases of exposure to asbestos not until during the World War II. Experts are mentioned that not only those who are exposed to asbestos can have this disease but members of the family who wash the clothes that were exposed are also prone to getting the disease. It may sound a little unfamiliar to common people but in cases of mesothelioma asbestos is the main contributing factor for getting the disease. After some time of exposure, the victim can acquire mesothelioma cancer a period when cells of the mesothelium become abnormal and divide without control or order and then invading and damaging nearby tissues and organs.

Symptoms of mesothelioma include shortness of breath, fatigue or anemia, chest or wall pain, fluid surrounding the lung and blood in sputum. Mesothelioma prognosis has no specific time period and some victims luckily outlive their prognosis. Some known procedures to cure mesothelioma are similar to that of a normal cancer treatment. First would be by surgery in which the lining of the chest is removed, then through radiation and radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and lastly by heated intraoperative Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy.
