Eating Disorders for Women
People eat to live and eating, hands down is one of the pleasurable things on earth. However to women, it somehow varies. For some reason, women have a higher tendency to have eating disorders than men due to depression and other psychological factors. Eating disorder is described as psychological problem in which someone fixates over her intake of food as a way of coping and gaining some control in her life. Eating disorder treatments are never easy; they take time and require delicate procedures. There are three types of eating disorders. Anorexia nervosa in which a person eats very little amount of food or sometimes doesn’t eat at all. Next would be bulimia nervosa consume large amounts of food (binge eat) and then try to rid themselves of the food and calories (purge) by fasting, excessive exercise, vomiting, or using laxatives. Lastly, there is binge eating or compulsive overeating in which a person consumes an excessive amount of food at a short period of time but unlike bulimia she doesn’t purge her food. Bulimia treatments should be taken seriously right at its symptoms because it will have a big impact on both physical and emotional aspect of a person. Same thing goes for anorexia treatment.
