The prices of fruits and vegetables are at a premium nowadays; blame it on the weather disturbances. On the other hand, I’m still thankful that I have the means to get healthy food. Not everyone is privileged to have meals and some people just rely on food donations. Sometimes I avoid looking at some news in Africa because I don’t want to worry much about their hopeless situations. But today, I just found out that in North Korea, food shortage is desperate. The food aid coming from World Food Program only reaches one third of those in need. This issue is never unknown to us. The North Koreans remain isolated and starved in their country with very minimal civil rights, starved and prone to diseases. No one knows when this country will embrace changes and open itself to the world. I just hope that the answer come sooner.
